Product Overview

Engineered by AiMas for reliable, space-saving end-of-line packaging automation.

The AMS-D-50 is the 50 kg payload variant of AiMas’ direct-connection (direct-drive) palletizing robot. Like the AMS-D-30, its servo motor is linked directly to the reducer with no belt in the drive chain — eliminating the six-month belt replacement cycle that conventional belt-type palletizers require.

Belt-Free, Higher Payload

Removing the belt delivers 24/7 stable operation with minimal maintenance and a longer service life, while the 50 kg capacity handles heavier or stacked cartons. This combination of durability and payload is what sets the D-series apart from belt-type competitors.

Collaborative and Safe

With CE-certified safety equipment, the AMS-D-50 can be configured with either LiDAR or a safety light curtain (choose one of the two). The PLC control makes it convenient to set box sizes and palletizing methods, and the robot is highly compatible with cartons of different sizes and palletizing patterns.

Flexible Integration

Vacuum detection prevents box fall-off, while 2D/3D dynamic monitoring provides complete visibility. The robot supports single and multiple capture-and-release and connects inline with other AiMas packing machines for a complete end-of-line system.

How It Works

A simple, reliable process from carton to finished package.

1

Carton Infeed

Filled cartons arrive from upstream sealing or packing stations.

2

Vision & Pattern

The PLC reads carton size and selects the programmed stacking pattern.

3

Direct-Drive Pick

The direct-drive arm picks and places cartons — with no belt to wear out.

4

Palletize & Wrap

Cartons are stacked on the pallet; finished pallets move to wrapping.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about palletizing robot solutions.

What makes direct-drive better than belt-type robots?

Traditional belt robots need belt replacement every 6 months, causing stoppages. AiMas direct-drive eliminates this — continuous 24/7 operation with minimal maintenance.

Is it safe to run near workers?

Yes. It is CE-certified collaborative with LiDAR or safety light-curtain options, so it can operate without extensive safety fencing.

What palletizing patterns are supported?

Multiple programmable stacking patterns handled through the PLC, supporting various carton sizes and pallet types.
